As part of the Staff Compensation Structure Project, the Human Resources team — using feedback from project stakeholders and university supervisors involved in a pilot — has developed a new template for supervisors to create and update employee job descriptions.
This new form incorporates and streamlines the information that was previously on the Position Evaluation Questionnaire (PEQ). As such, the PEQ will no longer be required when requesting a position review/evaluation/analysis.
The new template, along with additional information to help complete the form, can be found on the Human Resources website.
HR will host a GROW course on using the new template and writing effective job descriptions on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from noon to 1 p.m. in AMU 313. Registration for the class is available online.
