More than 1,200 students are arriving on campus this fall to pursue graduate and professional degrees at Marquette University in the Graduate School, Graduate School of Management, College of Health Sciences, School of Dentistry and the Marquette Law School.

Graduate School and Graduate School of Management

  • 761 students from 31 states and 20 countries
  • Noticeable growth in students of color and non-domestic students
    • 29% students of color
    • 13% international

College of Health Sciences

  • 166 students from 17 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, as well as two countries (Germany and Brazil)
  • More than 1,500 students applied
  • 44% of students are admitted on accelerated tracks. An additional 22 students are Marquette graduates.
  • Average age is 22
  • 23% students of color
  • 39% hail from Illinois; 27% are from Wisconsin

School of Dentistry

  • 100 students from 13 states and Puerto Rico
  • Received 2,479 applications from all 50 states and several countries
  • Graduates from 35 colleges and universities
  • Average age is 22
  • 21% students of color
  • 54% are women
  • Median undergraduate GPA is 3.70

Marquette Law School

  • 195 students from 29 states. Of these students, 189 are full time.
  • More than 1,050 students applied
  • 92 undergraduate schools and 48 undergraduate majors represented. 54% enrolled directly after completing their undergraduate degree.
  • Average age is 24
  • 22% students of color
  • 52% are Wisconsin residents
  • 51% are women
  • Median undergraduate GPA is 3.61
