The first Republican presidential primary debate ahead of the 2024 presidential election will be held the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum. For families moving students in on Aug. 23, be aware that roads around downtown Milwaukee may be closed for security purposes. Additional roads will be closed on campus to accommodate move-in.
The university recommends booking hotels in advance and giving yourself extra travel time, especially if you have an afternoon move-in time on Aug. 23.
Incoming students must schedule an arrival time for move-in through the Campus Living Portal. Families are encouraged, if possible, to also schedule an early drop-off through the Campus Living Portal on Sunday, Aug. 20, Monday, Aug. 21, or Tuesday, Aug. 22, to ensure a quicker entry into campus and the residence halls.
