Join in two upcoming wellness challenges

April 26, 2023

Join colleagues for two upcoming employee wellness challenges.

Fit2Be Cancer Free Challenge

The Fit2Be Cancer Free challenge kicks off on Thursday, April 27. It starts with the 24-hour CEO challenge. Follow along on Instagram or Twitter (@preslovell) as President Michael R. Lovell competes with other leaders to see who can go the furthest distance in 24 hours.

The employee challenge runs for three weeks, through Sunday, May 18. The goal is to move 70 miles during this time by doing any sort of activity. Participants will reach surprise milestones along the way and can compete with coworkers and other companies to see who can move the most. Marquette’s goal is to raise $5,000, which will be split between sarcoma research and health equity in Wisconsin.

Participants can also track their movement during this challenge in the My Wellness portal. Participation in this challenge can be tracked in the portal as an External Wellness Experience for 10 My Wellness points.

Walk This Way My Wellness Challenge

The Walk This Way My Wellness challenge kicks off on Monday, May 1. The goal of this challenge is to walk 50,000 steps each week throughout the four-week challenge. Steps will be automatically synced if participants have a fitness tracker linked to their My Wellness account, otherwise, they can be manually added. Participants who complete the challenge will earn 25 My Wellness points.

Visit the employee wellness website for more information about how to participate in each of these challenges.
