Alumna, visiting instructor Nadiyah Johnson named to Milwaukee Business Journal’s People to Know in Technology

Nadiyah Johnson, Arts ’14, Grad ’16, visiting instructor of computer science in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, was named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s inaugural list of People to Know in Technology.

Johnson is founder and CEO of Jet Constellations, an influential Milwaukee-based software company, and its spinoff Milky Way Tech Hub, which hosts workshops, panels, hackathons and design thinking sessions to help entrepreneurs and visionaries. And through a Milky Way partnership with Marquette, students in computer science are gaining real-world experience building pro bono coding for local startups founded by people of color.

The Milwaukee Business Journal highlighted individuals who are on their way up and making a difference in the technology industry and/or community. The publication sought individuals who other southeastern Wisconsin executives need to know if they want to get something done with that organization or in the community.
