Beyond MU webinar on immersive learning in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel, June 22

Beyond MU: Lifelong Learning will host a webinar titled, “Immersive Learning in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel” on Wednesday, June 22, at noon. Register online.

Learn how Marquette Humanities faculty incorporate the cultural and historical contexts of the St. Joan of Arc Chapel in their classes. In addition to serving as a site for student and alumni spiritual engagement, the reconstructed chapel and its complex past allow multiple opportunities for hands-on learning about literature, history and theology. This valued campus site demonstrates Jesuit education in action.

The webinar will feature:

  • Dr. Mark F. Johnson, associate professor of theology in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
  • Dr. Lezlie Knox, associate professor and department chair of history in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
  • Dr. Jennifer Vanderheyden, associate professor of French and Francophone studies in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
