Spring 24-hour film race begins April 29

The Filmmakers Association will host a 24-hour film race beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29, and running until Saturday, April 30, in Johnston Hall 107.

This event is an opportunity for students of all majors to push themselves out of their comfort zone and accept the challenge of creating a short film in 24 hours. It offers a chance to learn new skills, collaborate with a team, work with exciting new equipment and meet new people.

The Filmmakers Association aims to have a diverse group of students representing all majors involved in the race. Students can sign up individually to be placed in a random group or sign up with a group already formed. Faculty is also invited to get involved and form a group.

After the event there will be a screening of the films in the Weasler Auditorium hosted by Late Night Marquette. Food will be provided.
