Siderits Distinguished Lecture Series in Gender and Sexuality, April 28

An icon graphic representing A Culture of Inclusion from the Beyond Boundries Strategic PlanThe Annual Siderits Distinguished Lecture Series in Gender and Sexuality will take place on Thursday, April 28, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Teams. This year the lecture will feature a panel of experts and is titled “Challenges to Modern Gender Socialization: Contributions of Media Messages, Sexual Stereotypes and Racial Discrimination.”

The panel consists of:

  • Dr. Seanna Leath, assistant professor of psychology at the University of Virginia
  • Tiani Perkins, graduate student at the University of Michigan
  • Dr. L. Monique Ward, professor of psychology at the University of Michigan

This event is free and open to the public. This is an opportunity for all to hear about developmental and social psychology research from leading psychologists.
