New fringe benefit rates for grants to change July 1
Marquette has been negotiating a federally approved fringe benefit rate annually for external grant applications since 2019. The new rates, effective July 1, 2022, are 11.5% for employees and 0.4% for students. Marquette University mourns the loss of Dr. Marya Leatherwood, former assistant vice president for student affairs, interim vice president for student affairs and vice provost for strategic and academic planning, who passed away on March 31.
