Student Leadership Award recipients announced

March 25, 2022

An icon graphic representing the Formation of Hearts and Minds from the Beyond Boundries Strategic PlanStudent Affairs is proud to announce the recipients of the Contemplatives in Action Student Leadership Awards for the 2021-2022 academic year. This marks 53 years that Student Affairs has recognized student leadership through an award program.

Student Affairs recognizes leadership aligned with our Leadership Development Model in the spirit of being a contemplative in action, one whose leadership is expressed in service with and for others. Students are recognized for their contributions to Marquette and the greater community in several leadership areas.

Award recipients were celebrated in a program on Thursday, March 24, along with recipients of Student Organization Awards and Sorority and Fraternity Life Awards.

We are especially pleased to announce the recipient of the Andrew J. Thon Award for Leadership, which is awarded to a senior each year. This year’s recipient is Lisset Perez Jaramillo, a senior in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences.

Congratulations to all the award recipients.
