The new Center for Data, Ethics, and Society will be hosting a launch event focused on conversations on data, ethics and society on Monday, April 4, from 10 a.m. until noon in the AMU’s Lunda Room.
This will be the first event in a series of activities to bring together a multidisciplinary group of researchers, teachers and practitioners within the campus community who are already contributing to these efforts. We can listen and learn from each other, brainstorm future directions and initiatives and work to create a welcoming and diverse community.
Join to experience a presentation from Creighton University’s Dr. Andrew Gustafson on “An Ignatian Approach to Big Data Ethics,” a panel discussion with campus faculty and a student poster session.
Details and registration can be found online.
