Testing protocols for individuals who have not uploaded proof of COVID-19 booster

February 21, 2022

The university COVID-19 dashboard shows the percentage of faculty, staff and students who are up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations, meaning they have provided proof of booster or are not yet eligible for a booster (individuals are eligible for a booster five months after final Pfizer or Moderna vaccine dose, two months after the J&J vaccine).

Each week, faculty, staff and students who have not uploaded proof of booster will be randomly selected for required testing at Straz Tower. Individuals will be notified via email the Friday before they are required to test with detailed instructions and testing times.

Faculty, staff and students who have not uploaded proof of their primary series of vaccination (two doses for Moderna and Pfizer, one dose for J&J), are required to participate in weekly testing, which occurs at Straz Tower for faculty and staff and at the Rec Center for students. Individuals are notified via email the Friday before they are required to test with detailed instructions and testing times.

Visit the Frequently Asked Questions page on the COVID-19 website for additional information and answers to specific questions.

Campus vaccine and booster clinic on March 1

Given the success of the previous vaccine and booster clinic, Marquette is hosting another clinic on March 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AMU Ballrooms. All doses – first, second and boosters – of Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccines will be available. Influenza vaccines will be available as well. Remember to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card if you are receiving your second or booster dose.
