The deadline to complete the first quarterly content release of Marquette’s cybersecurity awareness education platform is Sunday, Jan. 23. This course is required for all Marquette faculty and staff.
The platform was created through a partnership between IT Services, SANS Institute and SAP Litmos.
All active Marquette faculty and staff can access the training online by logging in with their Marquette username and password. After you log in with your Marquette email address and password, click the “Information Security Awareness Course” button to access the first of four modules to be released throughout the year.
This platform offers tips on how to keep data, devices, and accounts secure. Topics include recognizing social engineering, browsing safely, enhancing mobile security, and creating strong passwords.
New content will be released quarterly and notifications will be sent by email from “Marquette University <system@litmos.com>” when new content is available.
Reminder notifications are currently being sent for the first quarterly content release. The next content release, Session 2, will be available starting Jan. 24. You will have 90 days to complete the second session.
