Near West Side Partners seeks volunteers for their Fall Beautification Day on Friday, Oct. 15, to help carry forward projects to beautify the community. Projects include landscaping and planting, lawn and garden maintenance and public art installation.
The event will be held at the Near West Side Waypoint Station, 1201 North 35th Street (on the Harley-Davidson campus), from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All volunteers are welcome to join in a celebratory happy hour at Triciclo Peru after the event.
