Marquette student-athletes invite the Marquette community to lace up their shoes and join them to show support for President Michael R. Lovell and all those who are battling cancer. The #LovellStrong 5K Fun Run will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m.
Registrants have the option to participate in person or virtually. More information and registration links are available online.
In-person festivities begin at 8:45 a.m. on Central Mall behind Raynor Memorial Library with a pre-run pep rally hosted by Marquette student-athletes. There will be complimentary light refreshments, live music and brief remarks before the Fun Run kicks off from Central Mall. Then run, jog or walk the 5K route to pound the pavement in support of Dr. Lovell.
