The Business Career Center will host a virtual event titled “Inclusivity @ Work” on Thursday, March 11, from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Students are invited to discuss inclusivity in the workplace through experience sharing and strategy suggestions from local professionals. Students who attend this event will have the opportunity to learn about professionals’ experiences with challenging workplace situations related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Through storytelling and discussion, the professional volunteers and students will discuss the situation, the response within the workplace and suggestions and strategies for best practice responses in the future.
Attend this event if you are interested in learning with professionals with whom you share a common experience and/or about being an informed workplace ally.
Student participation—questions and dialogue—within the sessions is encouraged and appreciated.
