W-2 tax forms now available online

January 27, 2021

W-2 tax forms are now available online via MyJob.

Note that if you are accessing MyJob off campus, you need to establish access to Marquette’s VPN, Virtual Private Network. With questions regarding the VPN, contact the IT Services Help Desk.

Once logged in, select “MU Employee Self Service,” “Personal Actions,” “View/Print Employee W-2″, “Start.” Click on the Adobe Icon for “W2 PDF Setup Business Group 2020.” Printing the W-2 from this webpage is an acceptable copy for attaching to annual tax returns. To print the form, use the printer icon on the form, not the printer icon on the Internet browser.

The university encourages everyone to go paperless in 2021 and opt out of receiving a paper W-2. This option is available to all faculty, staff and student employees. Note that electronic W-2 consent is still effective for 2020 if employees elected paperless statements in prior years. Instructions to opt out of the printed copy are detailed online.

Going paperless provides secure access earlier than a paper form would be mailed. This option also reduces costs and saves paper. More information on Marquette’s paperless option is available on the Office of the Comptroller’s website. Contact a Payroll Department representative with questions.

For those who did not opt out, traditional paper forms will be mailed to permanent home addresses and postmarked no later than Monday, Feb. 1.
