Marquette instructors should check their Marquette email for a link to complete the final Fall 2020 Academic Experience Survey, which closes on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
About the Academic Experience Surveys
The Office of the Provost administered two surveys this semester to better understand instructors’ instructional experience. The input will guide improvements made for future semesters. A set of surveys was also administered to students this fall.
Results from all surveys are reviewed by a small team of faculty, staff and students. Recommendations are then communicated to the COVID-19 Academic Planning Group, the Academic Deans Council and the Provost’s Cabinet for action and implementation.
Key takeaways are subsequently shared with the campus community via OIRA’s website. Results will also be communicated via email to respondents and posted in Marquette Today.
To see examples of how results from past surveys have been used, view the summary of significant outcomes from the Spring 2020 Remote Instruction Survey; results from this and other surveys are online.
Participation is voluntary, but feedback is very important. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Responses are confidential and will only be shared in the aggregate. The results will not include any identifying information but will be linked with other information about you (e.g. your academic rank, college, demographic data) to understand how experiences between groups of instructors may have differed.
