President’s Challenge – COVID-19 Response Grant advisers to begin virtual drop-in sessions June 1-12; Check-in documents due May 29

The recently announced President’s Challenge – COVID-19 Response Grant will host a series of virtual drop-in advising sessions between June 1-12. View the full list of dates and times.

The series is a partnership between Marquette, American Family Insurance and Johnson Controls. The virtual sessions will bring together key thought leaders in the areas of mental health, wellness, economic revitalization and health services. Teams who are planning to submit proposals can attend these sessions to share ideas with local experts in their fields.

Advisers include:

  • Joanne Sabir, co-owner of the Juice Kitchen and member of the American Family Insurance Milwaukee Team
  • Jon Lehrmann, M.D., professor and chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin; associate chief of staff for mental health at Milwaukee VAMC
  • Chris Mambu-Rasch, director of government and community relations for Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers
