The Faber Center will offer two new programs this semester to all faculty and staff for spiritual growth and understanding of the wisdom of St. Ignatius:
- Caregivers Group | Tuesday, Jan. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Faber Center
Those who are caring for an aging parent, a child with special needs or other loved ones are invited for lunch and conversation on the many aspects and challenges caregivers encounter. The program will be facilitated by Fr. John Schwantes, S.J. RSVP to the Faber Center by Monday, Jan 27.
- An Invitation to Greater Freedom | Thursdays, Jan. 30 through March 5, from 3:20 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Madonna Della Strada Chapel in Zilber Hall
Employees are invited to explore with colleagues an Ignatian perspective on recognizing the implicit racism at work in white culture and in our own hearts and behavior. A copy of White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism will be provided. Seating is limited and participation in all sessions is recommended.
RSVP to the Faber Center by Tuesday, Jan. 28.
