The Women’s Innovation Network and the 707 Hub will host a Graduate Entrepreneurs Panel on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from noon until 1 p.m. The panel can be viewed through Zoom.
This virtual session will highlight current and former Marquette graduate students and staff who have leveraged their graduate training and research expertise beyond academia as consultants and entrepreneurs. Attendees will hear from expert researchers including Paige Peters, current PhD student in Marquette’s environmental engineering program and CEO and founder of Rapid Radicals; Dr. Kalpa Vithalani, executive director of technology transfer in Marquette’s Office of Economic Engagement; and Dr. Vera Strogolova, alumna of Marquette’s biological sciences doctoral program and co-founder of the bee probiotic company Strong Microbials.
In addition to discussing the many ways that one might use their advanced degrees, the panel will introduce students to the Hub’s resources and entrepreneurial support programs. Register online.
