The Graduate School will welcome new and returning graduate students with a student services fair on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Eckstein Common (located on the east lawn of the Alumni Memorial Union).
Designed to connect graduate students with essential campus resources, the fair will feature representatives from a wide range of campus partners and programs. Offices scheduled to attend include the Backpack Program and Career Closet, Campus Ministry, Career Services, Campus Recreation, Counseling Center, Raynor Library, Disability Services, Office of Inclusion and Belonging, Graduate School, Medical Clinic, Graduate Student Organization, MIC Speakers Lab, Victim Advocacy, Ott Writing Center, Marquette Central and many more.
“This is a great opportunity for graduate students to explore the many resources available to support them academically, socially and personally,” noted Melissa Econom, graduate student development coordinator in the Graduate School.
In addition to connecting with campus partners, students can enjoy light refreshments, music and free giveaways in a casual outdoor setting. The event also serves as a chance to meet fellow graduate students and build community at Marquette.
