Join the Sustainable Marquette ERG on Earth Day to learn about the possibilities for harnessing geothermal energy on the Marquette campus at an informal talk with Dr. Tim Tharp, associate professor of physics in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, on Tuesday, April 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in AMU Henke Lounge.
Tharp will share findings from a recent independent study exploring the feasibility of low-emission geothermal systems to heat and cool campus buildings. A light lunch will be provided. Register online.
