The Africana Studies program will present a seminar by Dr. Alessia Isop, associate professor of economics at the University of Manchester, on Thursday, April 3, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Sensenbrenner Hall’s Eisenberg Reading Room.
Isop’s research interests are in development economics with a particular focus on the inefficiencies produced by the asymmetries in information both in the land and credit market within developing countries and on what solutions informal and formal institutions can provide to mitigate the adverse effects on societies.
This event is free and open to the public.
