We are blessed with students, faculty, staff and community members who are driven to create a positive ripple effect throughout our world. Aligned with Marquette University’s Catholic, Jesuit mission, our work focuses on developing educators who are prepared to Be The Difference in their communities, schools and organizations.
For nearly a century, Marquette has helped prepare professionals to work in a variety of educational and mental health settings. This includes positions in elementary, middle and secondary schools; higher education institutions; and human service organizations.
A Marquette education sets our students apart. College of Education students are lifelong learners who continue to reflect upon and improve their practice — as alumni, they devote themselves to caring for others and the world. These changemakers are needed now more than ever as we address nationwide shortages of educators and clinical mental health counselors. The College of Education is prepared to answer the call in developing the next generation.
