Dear friends of Marquette Business,
The College of Business Administration instills in students the knowledge to succeed, the principles to lead and the confidence to connect what’s good for business with what’s good for people. We deliver a world-class business education rooted in the Jesuit principles of intellectual curiosity and servant leadership. Our philosophy of conducting business with purpose touches everything we do, ensuring students’ success enriches the lives of others and uplifts communities. That ethos is the reason that I came back to Marquette.
It is a transformational time for Marquette Business. With 12 undergraduate majors, multiple nationally renowned Centers of Excellence and diverse postgraduate offerings, our college is well positioned for long-term impact on our students and industries. We are welcoming the largest freshman class in the college’s history for the 2024-25 academic year and are doing it while maintaining the high academic and experiential learning standards for which the college is known.
Our state-of-the-art facility, Dr. E. J. and Margaret O’Brien Hall, is a place where business and education meet. On any given day, you’ll see C-suite executives chatting with students in our coffee shop or managing directors at financial firms holding a panel discussion in the Michels Family Forum. O’Brien Hall is designed for collaboration. It mirrors our philosophy that the best results happen when ideas flow freely across disciplines and stakeholder groups.
The alignment of people, processes, facilities and partners in the business community create a learning environment that stands out among its peers, delivering superior outcomes for our students and impactful engagement in the region and beyond.
I look forward to working alongside the Marquette Business faculty and staff to continue to make this institution even better.
Regards,
Andrew DeGuire
