Campus building external doors will require MUID access Oct. 30; plan for road closures during World Series parade

Parade organizers estimate more than 400,000 people will attend the Milwaukee Brewers World Series championship parade that begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. Due to the proximity of the parade route to campus and the anticipated impact in the surrounding area, members of the Marquette community should plan for travel disruptions on Friday, Oct. 30.

For safety purposes, external doors to campus buildings will be accessible ONLY via Marquette University ID (MUID) swipe access on Oct. 30. Students, faculty and staff should carry their MUID to enter campus buildings. Please do not provide access to university buildings to individuals who do not have an MUID.

Road closures for the parade are expected to begin at 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. Those traveling to and from campus should allow additional time and be prepared to use alternate routes.

Classes and campus operations will continue as usual.
