Free diabetes resources are available through Tria Health’s chronic condition management program and through a dedicated health coaching offering focused on diabetes education.
Whether you are managing diabetes or wondering if you may be at risk, knowing the warning signs can help take early action.
Signs of diabetes includes:
- Increased thirst or hunger
- Frequent urination
- Fatigue
- Blurred vision
- Slow-healing cuts or wounds
- Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Those who are experiencing these symptoms may want to speak with their healthcare provider about whether diabetes screening may be appropriate.
For those looking to prevent diabetes or better manage an existing diagnosis, healthy habits can make a big difference. Those habits can include staying active, making balanced food choices, taking medications as prescribed, and keeping up with routine healthcare appointments.
