Get to know: David Crowley, Oct. 14

Join the Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall as the center continues its candidate “Get to Know” series with Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate David Crowley.

Currently serving his second term, Crowley was the youngest county executive and the first Black leader in the role when he was elected in 2020. He previously represented the 17th District in the Wisconsin State Assembly and worked as a community organizer with Urban Underground.

Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will host a discussion focused on Crowley’s background, why he has entered the race and what he hopes to achieve if elected governor. Register online by Tuesday, Oct. 13, to attend.
