The Marquette Literary Review will begin accepting submissions Oct. 1. The review only publishes work from Marquette’s community of students and alumni, as well as staff and faculty members.
The MLR is a great opportunity to get published and connect with the greater creative community of the university.
The MLR accepts the following genres:
- Poetry (1-5 poems)
- Fiction (up to 12,000 words)
- Creative nonfiction (up to 12,000 words)
- 2D artwork
- Audio work
- Sequential art
The MLR does not accept AI-generated or AI-assisted works. You can find more information on their website, and submissions can be sent to mlr-team@marquette.edu.
Submissions close on Nov. 9.
