Dear Marquette Business community,

This time of year is truly special. A renewed sense of energy is palpable as we prepare to welcome students back to campus and anticipate the many ways they’ll continue to shape what it means to be a Marquette Business student.

This affinity for innovation reflects both the business landscape and the college’s approach to curricula and programs. Marquette Business has been exceptionally intentional about evolving cutting-edge coursework and expanding the applied learning opportunities the college is known for. This momentum in our classrooms and with our industry collaborations and community partnerships is setting the stage for a year of significant trailblazing.

One exciting development is our new ASCEnT (Applied Supply Chain, Engineering and Technology) concentration. ASCEnT gives students an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to industry challenges, blending supply chain, engineering and technology in ways that explore the real-world environments in which our graduates will lead. Through international travel experiences and direct engagement with world-class faculty and business partners, students will gain a broader perspective of how complex systems work and how values-driven leaders can make them even better.

This forward motion is also powered by the guidance of our Executives-In-Residence, whose impressive backgrounds and industry expertise help shape the innovations and initiatives of Marquette Business. Their partnerships pair strategic direction with practical progress, ensuring our programs proactively prepare students to meet the needs of employers and communities. We are deeply grateful for the time, insight and mentorship they offer our students and faculty, propelling Marquette Business toward even greater impact.

This impact is underscored by Marquette Business’s proactive approach to AI integration across business education. Our expert faculty are embedding AI concepts and tools into coursework, exploring industry application and partnering across campus and with community organizations to drive collaborative experimentation. These efforts reflect our commitment to preparing students to understand, question and ethically leverage emerging technologies, guided by our Catholic, Jesuit mission.

Alumni, supporters, industry partners and friends, thank you for all the ways you strengthen this community. Your engagement, generosity and partnership are essential to our ability to innovate business education while staying grounded in our mission. Because of you, Marquette Business continues to prepare our students to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Sincerely,
Andrew DeGuire
