The 2026 First Look Forum will be held Thursday, April 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Quarles & Brady, bringing together researchers, investors and industry leaders to spotlight high-impact innovations from across Milwaukee.
Hosted by Marquette’s Office of Research and Innovation in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Versiti, the forum will feature rapid-fire pitch presentations followed by interactive discussions focused on advancing commercialization and real-world impact.
Marquette faculty members presenting this year include:
- Dr. Sheikh Iqbal Ahamed, who will present “Instant, Needle-Free White Blood Cell Testing Using Fingertip Videos”
- Dr. Ayman EL-Refaie, who will present “The Future of Flight: Electric and Hybrid Aviation Takes Off”
