Sodexo Global Chef Program brings flavors of Malaysia to campus March 17 

Marquette Dining Services will welcome a unique global culinary experience on Tuesday, March 17, as part of Sodexo’s Global Chef Program. 

Chef Shuhada Omar from Malaysia will be featured in two campus events that highlight the authentic flavors, traditions and stories behind his Malaysian cuisine. 

A tasting event will take place at Tory Hill Cafe from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a featured dinner menu at The Commons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

The entire Marquette community is encouraged to take part in this fun and flavorful experience. During his visit to Marquette University, Shuhada will prepare signature dishes from his home country, offering students, faculty and staff a rare opportunity to enjoy authentic international cuisine prepared by a chef who grew up in the culinary traditions he shares.
