Join the Lemonis Center for Student Success for a Zine Slam with visiting writer-maker Dr. Jason Luther on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 12:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lemonis Center multi-purpose room.
The low-key event, hosted by Marquette English/FAME, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Haggerty Museum, welcomes students, faculty, staff and community members to drop in, hang out and contribute to a collaborative zine — a DIY print publication that will be printed and shared shortly after.
Participants can write, draw, cut and paste with provided materials, or simply visit, chat about zines, help others and enjoy a free lunch.
