Junior business student wins prestigious Eisenberg Scholar award

Ella Reimer, a junior business student studying commercial real estate with a concentration in the Real Estate Asset Program and AIM with a concentration in fintech, has been named a 2025-26 Eisenberg Scholar. The Eisenberg Foundation picks a group of real estate students each year to receive mentoring, career counseling, scholarships and invitations to prestigious industry events.

“I feel incredibly excited and grateful to be part of this program,” Reimer says. “I’m really looking forward to how much I’ll learn and grow through the mentorship and experiences ahead. It’s an honor to represent Marquette and to follow in the footsteps of so many past scholars.”

Reimer is part of the AI in Real Estate Lab, an honors student and the director of public relations at the Marquette Commercial Real Estate Club. She is also a tour guide with Marquette Admissions and vice president of membership recruitment at Alpha Phi International Fraternity. She has completed business courses in Washington D.C., Antwerp, Belgium and Zurich, Switzerland.

“Ella is the kind of high-achieving, interdisciplinary student we want to be educating in our real estate program,” said Andy Hunt, director of the Vieth Institute for Real Estate Leadership. “She has been incredibly intentional about seeking out personal and professional development opportunities. I have no doubt that her new status as an Eisenberg Scholar will take her to even greater heights.”

The Harold E. Eisenberg Real Estate Scholar Program was launched in 2015 to provide undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to enhance their skills and network within the commercial real estate industry. Students are nominated by their universities and chosen by a panel of judges. Scholars will attend all Eisenberg Foundation events, as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers Convention in Las Vegas in May.

Reimer is the eighth Marquette student to be named an Eisenberg Scholar. Previous winners include the following:
