The Institute for Women’s Leadership will host Kristine Cherek, Marquette alumna, former corporate attorney, law professor and author of “Tread Loudly: Call Out the Bullsh*t and Fight for Equality in the Workplace,” on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. in O’Brien Hall 150 A/B. A reception will follow.
With more than 20 years of experience in law, business and higher education, Cherek brings real-world stories and honest strategies for navigating unfair treatment, speaking up with clarity and leading without shrinking yourself. Cherek’s debut book has been praised for its humor, boldness and practical guidance for anyone ready to challenge outdated norms.
This event is free and open to all students, staff, faculty, alumnae and community members who are ready to lead, speak up and build something better. It is being put on in collaboration with College of Business Administration, Opus College of Engineering, Diederich College of Communication and the Association of Marquette University Women.
Registration is required. Register online.
