EAP support available for employees impacted by flooding

We know some employees have experienced flooding and loss at your homes due to the historic flooding over the weekend. For those Marquette employees who have been adversely impacted, please remember that our confidential, independent Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees and members of their immediate family. EAP offers assistance with counseling, work-life issues and resource identification, and has specific resources to help with storm impacts (see resources list below). The Marquette Facilities Planning and Management team continues to assess and triage water leaks that occurred in various campus buildings as a result of the heavy rains over the weekend.

While our Facilities team is working as quickly as possible, we appreciate everyone’s assistance in identifying any additional issues so that they can be addressed as soon as possible. Please notify your ULC member and continue to report any water leaks or damage to the MUPD non-emergency dispatch at (414) 288-6800 or submit a work request to Facilities. The work request site will be down this Thursday and Friday, Aug. 14 and 15, so please use the MUPD non-emergency dispatch line during that time.
