Registration for spring ‘Making Marquette Inclusive’ 1.0 and 2.0 discussion series now open

Sponsored by the Office of Inclusion and Belonging, the Making Marquette Inclusive (MMI) discussion series provides faculty and staff with the opportunity to examine issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as they relate to our day-to-day work and reinforces the value of working across differences.

Through short articles, videos and a series of facilitated conversations, participants in this 10-week mini-course explore themes such as implicit bias, privilege, microaggressions, the promotion of justice and effective dialogue orientations.

Several cohorts of MMI 1.0 are available for the spring. Priority deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 24.

For those who have already completed MMI, there are several MMI 2.0 cohorts being offered this spring that extend the learning themes and take participants from reflection to action. If you are interested in continuing the MMI journey, register for MMI 2.0 by Jan. 24.

To date, over 300 employees have participated in this program. Read what other participants have to say about their experience
