The Marquette women’s volleyball team will face top-seeded Penn State in the regional semifinals of the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship on Friday, Dec. 13, at approximately 2:30 p.m. in University Park, Pennsylvania.
This marks the Golden Eagles’ third appearance in the regional semifinals, which include the final 16 teams in the tournament. The match can be watched on ESPN2.
The winner of the match will advance to the regional final on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
The fifth-seeded Golden Eagles advanced to the regional semifinals by defeating No. 17 Utah in Salt Lake City on Friday evening in five sets. Outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton led the way with 20 kills, 14 digs, two blocks and a pair of service aces, while Natalie Ring added 16 kills.
