Marquette was ranked among the top 100 in Time magazine and Statista’s 2025 Best Colleges for Future Leaders. The university is ranked No. 97 nationally — second among schools in Wisconsin and fourth among the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
To create the ranking, Time analyzed a diverse sample of 4,000 of the most influential leaders from various areas in U.S. society. These leaders span a broad range of industries and fields, bringing diverse experiences and expertise to their roles.
These leaders’s resumes were meticulously compiled, documenting all publicly available information about their educational and professional experiences. Research sources included personal websites, curriculum vitae/resume documents, corporate bios, social media pages and news media articles. Approximately 16,000 individual career milestones were collected for the sample.
