Marquette again named ‘Green College’ by Princeton Review

Marquette University was recently named to The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2025 Edition. The university received a Green Rating of 92/99 for the 2025 guide, a two-point improvement from last year.

The Princeton Review assessed Marquette and nearly 600 other schools on over 25 data points regarding uses of renewable energy, recycling and conservation programs, the availability of environmental studies in their academic offerings, and their career guidance for green jobs.

“We are delighted to recommend Marquette University to students who want their ‘best-fit’ college to also be a ‘green’ one,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief. “Marquette, which offers excellent academics, also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability in its campus programs, policies and practices.”
