Help Marquette continue its efforts to beat Butler University in the schools’ blood drive competition by donating at one of the final two Versiti blood drives of the fall semester – first on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in The Commons room 216, then on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in AMU 157 and 163.
Those interested can schedule an appointment online for Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. There are incentives to participate in both drives:
- Those who donate on Dec. 5 will receive a $10 e-gift card and an MUPD Blue stress paw in addition to being entered to win a $250 gift card to the Marquette bookstore
- Those who donate on Dec. 6 will receive a Marquette blood battle long sleeve T-shirt and an MUPD Blue stress paw in addition to being entered to win a $250 gift card to the Marquette bookstore
Marquette currently sits at 32% of its overall goal, just behind Butler in the head-to-head competition. Marquette will host all-campus drives and additional drives within residence halls in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin through April 2024.
Donations can also go toward the battle outside of specified drives. Use the code “#marquette” in the appointment notes while scheduling with Versiti, which has a blood center right on campus at 18th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The donor center’s complete schedule is available online.
