Marquette Business’ commercial banking program has spots available for a Friday, Sept. 29 field trip to Chicago to visit industry leaders and learn about career opportunities available in commercial banking.
Students should meet at 12th Street between Zilber Hall and the Al McGuire Center; the coach bus will depart campus at approximately 7 to 7:30 a.m. and is expected to return to Marquette around 5 p.m.
The trip is open to all interested students, not just those enrolled in the program.
Participants will get the chance to visit the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank, experience the Federal Reserve’s Money Museum and learn about career opportunities with the Fed. In addition, we will visit Wintrust Bank, the lead bank in the Wintrust family, and listen to presentations from Marquette alumni.
Lunch will be at Revival Food Court. Students should bring cash to pay for lunch.
All participants must bring a picture ID (student ID and/or drivers license) to get into the Fed. Dress is business casual. Interested students should contact Dr. Kent Belasco, director of the commercial banking program, at kent.belsaco@marquette.edu.
