Join the Psychology and Social Justice Internship Program and Table of the Saints for “Mental Health in the Black Community,” a discussion on Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in AMU 157 and 163.
The event includes a panel moderated by journalist James Casey featuring three Milwaukee mental health professionals:
- Clem Richardson, clinical counselor at the Social Development Commission
- Dr. Lia Knox, CEO and founder of Knox Behavioral Health Solutions; co-founder of Black Space Inc
- Kalen Kennedy, graduate assistant in the Department of Psychology
The event also includes a discussion-based lunch and audience engagement with Dr. Stephany Pruitt, licensed professional counselor, as those in attendance generate actionable items.
