Marquette Business’ Commercial Banking Club will host a lecture delivered by current and former FBI agents on Monday, Feb. 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Wehr Chemistry 100. Titled “Financial Fraud with FBI & AML,” the lecture is open to the campus community; students interested in criminology, finance and commercial banking are encouraged to attend.
John Byrne, a 1978 Marquette alumnus and executive vice president of AML RightSource, an anti-money laundering firm, will give a joint lecture with FBI agent Christopher Farrell and retired FBI agent Dennis Lormel. They will discuss methods used by both law enforcement and private sector agencies to combat financial crime, as well as career opportunities within the field.
Tickets to the lecture are free, but attendees are asked to register in advance on Handshake.
