Mission Week Ignite Bistro, Feb. 8

Enjoy a free delicious dinner with Ignite on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the AMU’s Lunda Room.

Ignite Bistro Night features the dynamic components of Ignite — engaging community, inspiring speakers and prayer — plus great food. No RSVP is required.

Marquette alumna Barbara Graham, the head of refugee and immigration services for Catholic Charities in Milwaukee, will speak about “Welcoming the Stranger: Immigration, Kindness, and Human Dignity.” She will explore realities and struggles facing immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the United States with a special emphasis on the plight of migrants in the Milwaukee area.

Bistro Night will have limited seating, catering and capacity. This is a Mission Week event.

Ignite offers Marquette students an inspiring experience of college community, Catholic faith and prayer welcoming all at Marquette. If you’re looking to connect with new people, explore living a faith that does justice, try something new or just be inspired, then come to Ignite.
