Tuesday, March 8, marks the university’s fifth annual Give Marquette Day. This 24-hour fundraising event is an opportunity for the Marquette community to come together and celebrate the spirit of giving.
Participate on campus
Visit the AMU second floor lobby from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy a photo booth, music and celebration. Students are welcomed to stop by for a hot cocoa bar and to-go snacks.
During “Power Hour” from noon to 1 p.m., there will be gourmet Marquette-themed rice crispy treats.
Students will have the opportunity to make a gift and receive an exclusive pair of Marquette spirit socks as a thank-you and may win additional prizes if they receive a “golden ticket” in their socks.
Become an advocate
Students can sign up to be an advocate and spread the word using #GiveMUDay. Advocates share about Give Marquette Day and encourage their community to give back for a chance to win prizes.

Join in on a challenge
Students can take part in the many challenges throughout the day to help unlock generous gifts. Brothers David Trautschold, Eng ’06, and Matt Trautschold, Eng ’04, will give $50 for each student donor, up to 200 donors. Participants on Give Marquette Day will also receive their choice of an exclusive pair of Marquette socks as a thank you.
