The Marquette Medical Clinic has secured the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine for the week of April 12.
The COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held on Wednesday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 pm. to 3:30 p.m. in the the AMU, Lunda Room. Sign up for an appointment online.
The Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine is a one dose vaccine. The clinic is open to all Marquette faculty, staff and students. It is not open to the public.
Last week Governor Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced that everyone ages 16 and over will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting Monday, April 5. Read the full press release online.
With increased vaccine supply and an accelerated vaccination pace in recent weeks, Wisconsin is able to push the eligibility date four weeks earlier than expected.
In addition to the on-campus vaccine clinics, there are various vaccination sites in the Milwaukee area:

Testing at American Family Field
COVID-19 testing at American Family Field (formerly Miller Park) is changing location, hours and days of operation.
Starting Monday, April 12, testing at the baseball stadium parking lots will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The testing location is moving to the east parking lot, which is designate as the “Yount” lot, later this week.
Because of games schedule at American Family Field, testing will not take place on Wednesday, April 14, or Wednesday, April 28.

Important reminders:
- The State of Wisconsin, NOT Marquette University, determines vaccine eligibility criteria. More information on the state’s eligibility requirements is available online.
- You must get both doses at the same facility
If you get your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine off campus, you cannot get your second dose at Marquette. Second doses are automatically allocated by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to the vaccination site that provided your first dose. If you received your dose elsewhere, including out of state, that site is responsible for your second dose. - Once fully vaccinated, you should still wear your mask, practice social distancing, avoid crowds, wash your hands often and complete the daily COVID Cheq.
Please remember that completing the daily COVID Cheq survey remains a key mitigation tool for campus. Per the CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated people should still watch for symptoms of COVID-19, especially following an exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. If symptoms develop, all people – regardless of vaccination status – should isolate and be clinically evaluated for COVID-19. - For vaccine help, Wisconsin residents can call the COVID-19 Vaccine Assistance Hotline at (844) 684-1064. Milwaukee County also created HealthyMKE, a COVID-19 vaccine resource website.
