In honor of Women’s History Month, The Educational Opportunity Program will host EOP alumna Dora Drake for a virtual lecture on Tuesday, March 9, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Drake was accepted into the Educational Opportunities Program at Marquette and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social welfare and justice in 2015. After graduating, she served as a social worker within the criminal justice system for three years before establishing a racial-bias training for an agency statewide, serving as a campaign manager for a school board race and currently as a Wisconsin state representative for the 11th Assembly District, her home community.
