The Educational Opportunity Program’s Lunch and Learn Series will host a session on “The Current State of COVID-19 and Black Milwaukee” on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from noon to 1 p.m.
This session will discuss how COVID-19 has affected Black communities in Milwaukee, vaccination access and effects on mental health.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Jeanette Kowalik, founder and president of Jael Solutions, LLC
- Kari Lewis, counselor/coordinator of services for Black/African American Students with Marquette’s counseling center
